Morfologia
The walls of the upper part of the cavity (P22 and P6) consist of an alternation of limestone beds and marly layers typical of the lower Bathonian and offer little mechanical strength; however, no lignite level was noted. Progression then continues in a more compact limestone of the Bajocian. The terminal gallery becomes very clayey.
Idrologia
The igue could be a window onto the underground Ouysse between the Thémines losses and the Loze. Information on groundwater pollution barely reaches the "deep" causse; there is therefore still much work to do to make inhabitants aware of the vulnerability of the underlying aquifer.
Progressione
After searching in vain for the ligue des Nivernais survey, we decided, as an exercise, to simply carry it out. We had the surprise, always unpleasant, of coming at -24 upon 2 sheep carcasses in a more or less advanced state of decomposition. The terminal gallery had to be dynamited, as witnessed by the "forgotten" electrical cables.
