The clay is greasy and abundant, and the limestone wall rarely appears.
Idrologia
The very numerous fossils in the upper part of the river provide information about the geological stage traversed by the water: the Domérien.
Note biospeleologiche
True living fossils, the niphargus, small unpigmented crustaceans adapted to the underground environment, are numerous in this cavity.
