Morfologia
A narrow, draught-swept window gives access to an obstructed shaft. After a quick 2 m climb, one reaches the top of a P7, impassable at the -40 mark. Pushing the climb 2 m higher brings one to a junction of galleries. Downwards, after a P8, a vertical squeeze guards access to a broad flow. The low point of the cavity (-44 m) lies downstream of the sink, in a choked gallery that resisted a determined digging effort. At the gallery crossing, a 21 m climb allowed approach to within less than 10 m of the surface, directly above a ground collapse. Over several hectares, this karst area shows a very high density of micro-dolines (diameter: 1.5 to 3 m; depth: about 1 m).

A joint where a weak trickle of water flows leads to an impenetrable spring and sink.
Progressione
A visit during the winter of 1990/1991 revealed heavy condensation at the foot of the terminal scree, a sign promising enough to consider digging it. After several sessions, and encouraged by the loss of a crowbar that tumbled a few metres lower, the squeeze was forced. After crawling through a tube, the crowbar was found where the ceiling rises somewhat.
Storia
During the session in which the squeeze was forced, speleologists from Bordeaux arrived, believing they were dealing with the igue du Pech Lavayssière; as the latter is located in the commune of Thémines, more than 10 km away, perhaps they were first-descent thieves.
