Iarteantzetako Leizea IX

It is the same cavity as the one catalogued under number 2018 in the CATÁLOGO ESPELEOLÓGICO DE NAVARRA (I. SANTESTEBAN-C. ACAZ). The bottom of the doline continues with a circular shaft, which at 30 metres ends in a choke of blocks. From there, through a sloping crawl filled with humus, a 2-metre drop is reached. The fossil crawl is full of small blocks of decomposed limestone and has an inclination of about 45º. After crawling through it, at 5 metres it begins to take the form of a meander, which lasts another 5 metres until it ends at the top of a small chamber 8 metres high.

At the 2-metre drop it can be seen that the drip from the vertical has taken shape and is now a trickle of water that escapes through a meander about 20 cm wide. In the small chamber 8 metres high there is a small pool and the trickle of water observed earlier, which enters again through a meander about 10 cm wide.

The shaft is climbed and to the right is the fossil crawl; you have to crawl through the crawl and at 5 metres it begins to take the form of a meander, which lasts another 5 metres until it ends at the top of a small chamber 8 metres high.
