Descrizione
Morfologia
It opens on a hillside through a very narrow fault. The total development of the cave is nearly 4 kilometers; the main gallery is known over 1,840 meters, and more than 2 kilometers of secondary galleries have been traversed and surveyed.
Concrezioni
Magnificent speleothems are found there.
Idrologia
The cave has a rivière souterraine (underground river) whose course can be followed for about 300 meters, and a magnificent lake.

Note biospeleologiche
Cave bear bones have been discovered there, as well as, in the clay of the floor, cave bear "nests" and, on the walls, scratch marks. It has proved to be very rich in cave-dwelling animals, and the samples taken have been the subject of in-depth studies at the biospéléologique laboratory of Moulis.
