The cave has a large porch with a view over the valley. This porch is about 8 m wide and 15 m long. At the back on the right, a tight passage gives access to the grotte du pont de la Dame 2.
Progressione
At the back on the right of the porch, a tight passage gives access to the grotte du pont de la Dame 2. Many equipped climbing routes are found under the porch.

A substantial wall and remains of render and paint are visible, evidence of a troglodyte occupation.
