Descrizione
Morfologia
A small forced conduit of 7 metres arrives in a chamber from which all the cave's passages depart.
Straight ahead towards the south-east, one climbs a concretion-covered gallery to +8 m, with a small side branch with steps on the left and a blocked passage on the right; this spot seems close to the surface (draught).
In the chamber, a crawl leaves towards the east and arrives in a small earthy chamber with a funnel at the bottom and a small crawl rising (+6 m) at the top.
From the first chamber, a step down leads into a meander; after three right-angled bends one arrives in a small, fairly high chamber, with an impassable Diaclase towards the east. The meander continues towards the north and ends at a sump at variable level (-13 m in August 1989), with a small inflow of water on the left wall; this sump consists of a descent to -2 m followed by a constriction, then a 5-metre shaft and an impassable lamiloir at about -20 m.
Back at the first chamber, a small crawl descends towards the north then opens out towards the east into a fine overdeepened meander conduit that joins the top of the chamber at -7 m.
Idrologia
The cavity is a sink of the Orbieu; the water would resurface 1.5 km further on beneath Montjoi at a small spring (according to analyses by A. Bouchala).
