Grotte de Miolène

The entrance measures 1 metre wide and 0.5 metre high. One advances by crawling, without it being narrow, in a forced conduit that makes a succession of right-angle bends but which, overall, descends beneath the cliff. After an ascending inclined plane, one reaches a point where the gallery was entirely occupied by a deep pool. Behind it, a more comfortable 7 m shaft is climbed back up without difficulty. a low passage gives access to a widening with 2 possible continuations.

The floor has been worked so that water does not remain in the gallery. On the left a gallery starts from which the water comes and where one feels a draught.

Opposite, a squeeze gives access to a gallery that climbs above the gallery one has come from; at the top, a very tight passage gives access to a continuation that has been seen once.
