Morfologia
The grotte de la Tignarié refers to a set of small, low galleries in which one can only progress on all fours. The largest does not exceed 10 metres in length. They are largely filled with earth and sand.
Idrologia
The galleries of the grotte de la Tignarié are entirely dry. The grotte de la Tignarié, like that of Engasc, must have been carved by an ancient tributary of the Thoré that has become fossil.
Progressione
One can only progress through the galleries of the grotte de la Tignarié on all fours.

The galleries sheltered rabbits, which contributed to filling them, as well as a few chiropterans (notably lesser horseshoe bats).
