Grotte de l'Ours du Saix Rouge

The entrance step gives access to a descending gallery, at the bottom of which you set off to the right to climb over a 2-metre wall that requires no equipment.

At the foot of this wall, it is possible to set off to the right to take the galerie de l'ours, but it is very muddy. It is preferable to take a U-shaped squeeze slightly to the left, which presents no difficulty, quickly followed by a 10-metre pit with a narrow start.

You leave this chamber through a final low passage; you go back down the gallery (mondmilch) then climb back up by scaling a few blocks to reach the foot of a rope that must be climbed. It gives access to a forced conduit at the end of which a 6-metre pit allows you to descend into a large chamber (La Cathédrale).

It is worthwhile doing the climb that leads to the forced conduit located in the extension of the first one. It gives access to a fine gallery.

Warning: the fixed rope attached to a piton stops 4 metres before the bottom of the pit.
