Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance gallery, fairly spacious (a few chambers), leads into a series of laminar passages followed by a complex network of parallel joints and small galleries.
Idrologia
The cavity was excavated under phreatic conditions in a narrow field of perpendicular joints trending NNE/SSW and EES/WWN. The bottom of the cave has a view onto the water table of the spring of the lavoir located 200 metres to the south, whose catchment area extends east of Villeneuve to the Ourdivielle valley (proven by dye tracing).
