A karst network beginning with a 5-metre step, with a joint, a baume, a pit and a mountain of clay.
Descrizione
Morfologia
Entrance n°2 is followed by a 5-metre step that leads to the top of a joint with fine shapes. Taking left, after 2 narrow passages, one reaches the baume. Descending the joint to the right (on a flow of Mondmilch), one reaches the lowest point of the cave. Through a narrow passage on the left, one reaches the continuation of the network. Up to the salle des repas, this consists of a series of low passages and small chambers.
From the salle des repas, 2 possibilities are open to visitors:
1) Either climb to the left up a clayey slope reaching a network comprising 2 pits. To reach the top of the first pit (P 16), one can take the high passages, or from below, follow an obvious route but interrupted by 2 narrow passages of liquid mud. This part, although muddy, has strong concretion.
Once at the top of P 16 (blind), descend it only 2 metres and climb back up through a skylight leading to the continuation of the network. This grows larger as it goes. After climbing a earthy step, one arrives at the top of a P 10 which can be bypassed on the left. Shortly after, the network ends in a large N.S. joint (note at its lowest point a blowing hole probably in junction with the Travès).
2) Or climb, opposite, 2 steps then pass a narrow passage. One thus reaches the "mountain of clay" (in reality, a bedded mixture of clay and fine sand). Climb on the dry clay in a voluminous gallery with fine erosion shapes.
Note: just before the mountain of clay, on the right, the start of a narrow network where a significant draught circulates. This crawl is probably in connection with a small blowing hole spotted on the surface.
