Descrizione
Morfologia
Narrow entrance at ground level; after a few metres, an 8-metre pit. To the south, a narrow gallery extends for 25 metres. To the south-east, after a small rise of a few metres, a gallery gives access to a small chamber of 15 m x 10 m x 4 m, into which mostly obstructed conduits branch. Only, to the south-east, a small descending crawlway gives access to a gallery of interesting development. Note the presence of fairly low crawlways.
Concrezioni
During the first exploration, calcified bones (unidentified) were discovered at the bottom of the 8-metre pit.
Idrologia
The base of the pit consists of a pool of stagnant water 1.70 metres deep. Bodies of stagnant water with no great variation in level, no draught noted; during heavy rainfall, presence of a small stream that crosses the bottom gallery and is lost again in a small depression of the stalagmitic floor.
Progressione
Progression in the narrow southern gallery is made difficult by the presence of crawlways and water pools. We point out to future visitors that risks of confinement are to be feared in the bottom galleries.
