Descrizione
Morfologia
The gallery, roughly triangular, is about 40 metres long. The walls are covered with clay. The floor is covered with pebbles.
Idrologia
Water flows across the entire width of the gallery (0.5 m to 1 m). The upstream sump, very small, appears impenetrable. The downstream sump, which marks the end of a small pool 5 metres long (depth of 1 to 1.5 m), is more welcoming. The stream's flow was assessed on 30 November 85 at 4 to 5 litres per second; it appeared roughly identical to the flow encountered at the DE JOLY sump, before the large chambers.
Progressione
Beginning with a vertical squeeze (mind the return!), progression continues through the scree slope descending from the salle des Agenais. It is delicate in certain places (instability), often with the bedrock above one's head. Access to the "river" is via a narrow, subvertical joint 10 metres deep, well defended by a severe squeeze (3 hours of effort to get through it).

The clay-covered walls reflect a rise in water level during the winter period. This rise in water level must also flood the joint.
