Gouffre de la Lune

Two small entrance shafts give access to a funnel in which two shafts open: one about twenty metres high is blocked at its base, while the other, 65 m high, ends in a large chaotic gallery. The floor of this gallery is made up of large blocks. At the bottom of the P 65, continuing to the end of the gallery, one reaches a P 141 which opens into a collapse chamber and includes several parallel shafts. Between the blocks of the chamber, steps and small passages allow one to reach the bottom of the pit at -280. At this point, a large block blocks the small gallery.

At the bottom of the pit, at -280, a large block blocks the small gallery, leaving just enough room for a trickle of water and a faint draught to pass.

The floor of the large gallery, made up of large blocks, is pierced by a first network which, via a P 28, an R 10, a P 70 and another P 28, joins the main network. Continuing to the end of the gallery at the bottom of the P 65, one reaches a P 141. Between the blocks of the collapse chamber, one can make one's way through steps and small passages to reach the bottom of the pit at -280.
