La Glacière d'Autrans consists of two entrances: La Glacière and le Tapinoir. These two entrances meet at around -150 metres.
Progressione
Le Tapinoir is a succession of shafts down to the meander at around -120 metres. The crawl upstream of the puits du Ratrac is not equipped with a handline. Access to the P28 in the meander is not equipped outside of flood conditions.
Altri dettagli
The term “Tapinoir”, which is one of the entrances to the cave, probably comes from the thick, very dark layer of humus/compost that must be crossed to enter it, forming a veritable “black carpet” at the entrance.
