Garagaï de Recours

Square entrance 0.5 M across, opening onto a 23 M shaft, broken by a ledge at -7.

Narrow entrance followed by a fine 17 M shaft shaped like a candle snuffer with a ledge at -9 M. After about a dozen metres, the cavity changes style and becomes a tectonic joint no more than 1 M wide.

The bottom should lie not far from the water base level (from upstream to downstream of the Caramy: grotte Rouge alt 310, source de la Figuière alt 300, grotte Olivier alt 295, source Lieutaud alt 290, on the right bank upstream of the bridge, source des Lecques downstream of the bridge, captured by Tourves alt 280, sources de St. Julien to the North East alt 250)[ref]Christian Mistre le 22/01/2017 Ex G.S.E.M. At the base, a narrow dug-out vertical gives onto a descending series. The joint is descended on rope, down to the location of the wedged block. The series seemed vertical and must certainly have reached the base level of the Caramy.

The cavity was very cold and traversed by an icy draught.
