Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance measures 1.50 m x 1.3 m high and is located 2.50 meters above the river; on the right wall, high up, there is a kind of artificial notch. The cavity is normally flooded to 1 meter below the entrance. When the water is removed, one descends into a gallery of square section about 1 m x 1 m. At 6 meters from the entrance, the floor forms a 2-meter step whose top appears to have been worked (stones, wood). The bottom of the step is very flat and forms a sort of slab. The slope resumes and, 3 meters further on, one comes up against a pool. Although it could not be emptied completely, a probing suggests that the gallery ends there because the rock is present beneath the mud. Numerous traces of digging are visible in the cavity.
Idrologia
An inflow of water should be noted in the right wall; it is this that must fill the hole.
