Caratteristiche

Località

In the les Fogueroses area, E of the Coll d'Eres. From there, follow the carena del Pagès path for 500 metres and turn left; we will follow this path in the direction of the Paller. Before reaching it, however, we must take a path on the right that runs along the cliff in a S direction, until reaching a marked gully located between the Agulla Mitjana and the Agulla Petita de les Fogueroses. We must descend the gully a few metres to find on the right the mouth of the cavity, located on a rocky outcrop.

Descrizione

Morfologia

We enter the cavity through a gallery 4 metres long that leaves us in front of a large pile of blocks; in front of us is a second mouth through which the Agulla Petita can be seen, while on the left, a third mouth allows us to make out the Agulla Mitjana. The ceiling is always very high.

This cavity is formed by the intersection of joints, creating a small karst network that, with the passage of time and the retreat of the cliff, has become fossil and with large graviclastic processes.

Storia

The oldest speleological news we know of is the visit made in December 1953 by members of the GES – CMB, possibly from its, then, delegation in Terrassa.
