Morfologia
The cave is formed by a single gallery with a vertical axis, with the floor formed by clay sediments and a meandering route, much more pronounced in the terminal part.
Storia
A cavity long known in archaeological circles. The first reference we have of an exploration is the one carried out by the SIE of the CEA in 1970, in which they made the survey; this, however, was not published until 1982, on the occasion of the publication of volume 6 of the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya. In this catalogue they erroneously place the cavity in the municipality of Balenyà, in the area of “el Castellar”; we assume they must have confused it with one of the “PG” caves explored by the GIEG in the cingles de Puigsagordi.
In 1981 Joan Pallarès and Jordi Daviu (GEFOMA) made a new survey, which they published in the magazine GOURS (8), consciously omitting the location of the cavity.
