Fontaine du Pré de Mazel

From the entrance, the route follows relatively low passages (about 50 cm). A first chamber precedes A fossil gallery on the right, which allows bypassing the sump reached by continuing straight ahead. The gallery then becomes clean again and quickly opens into A large chamber strewn with blocks fallen from the ceiling. One emerges on the other side of the choke into A fine, comfortable gallery filled with sand. About 100 metres further on, A new choke of large blocks bars the way. After the Salle de l'Enlisement, A few chokes appear.

In the fossil network, A small mud bath twice appears very difficult to avoid in summer; the rest of the time, this bath is A true duck that can sump during periods of heavy rain. The river is only A small stream at low water.

From the entrance, simply follow the water. On reaching the first chamber, take A fossil gallery on the right. In the large chamber strewn with blocks, find your way by following the traces without losing sight of the fact that the continuation is on the left; at the end of the chamber, look for A way through the boulder choke. The passage through the new choke is at the bottom and requires A little ramping; the exit from this new choke is to the right. Once in the river, there is no longer any route-finding difficulty.
