Località

Take the Puerto de Navarra by the path leading to the summit of Pico Ezcaurre/Ezkaurre; once the North face is surmounted on a steep slope, branch off about 50 metres in a Southerly direction, towards the line of dolines. Another access route starts from the Belabarze valley, to the North, along the path to the borda de Baines, or from the West from Izaba, along the path that climbs to the summit of Ezkaurre/Ezkaurre.

The aforementioned pit was located by the G.A.E.S de Bilbao in 1988 and marked with the code A.1. Later, in 1992, the E.R.E del C.E.C., of Barcelona, renamed it with the code EZ.1.
