A collapse chamber 16 metres long, 10 metres wide and 7 metres high, cut into a gypsum lens and now completely filled in.
Descrizione
Morfologia
A collapse chamber of fine dimensions (16 metres long, 10 metres wide and 7 metres high) carved out by infiltration, in a very geographically localized gypsum lens.
Idrologia
An infiltration water table, about 1.5 metres deep, occupies the bottom of the cavity.
Altri dettagli
It is located in an area formerly exploited for plaster. It seems that the cavity is the cause of the subsidence of the D554.
This cavity was completely filled in during the works on the D.554 and can therefore no longer be visited.
