Morfologia
The cavity begins with a 4-metre-deep shaft cleared by us. This igue is covered by a slab and some of its walls bear very old traces of construction or consolidation. At the bottom of the opening there is a forced conduit with a keyhole profile, very narrow.
Idrologia
The cavities all open in the Middle Upper Jurassic: limestone in small beds of the Portlandian, adjoining the marly limestones of the Upper Kimmeridgian and the semi-impermeable terrain made up of sand and clay of the sidérolithique. This information allowed us to delimit without much risk of error the recharge area of the emergences as well as its surface area; about 2.5 square kms. This area is bounded: to the north by the Abbaye basin, to the east by the Céou stream and the Grèze slope, to the south by the Marinesque - Mas Teulat ridge, (semi-impermeable terrain), to the west by the Lantis catchment area, (emergence).
Progressione
The forced conduit is about ten metres long and then arrives in a more disturbed zone. Narrow passages and rockfalls follow one another. The cave continues; the continuation can be seen but this difficult zone would have to be passed.

It is certain that this emergence must have served as a fountain and many people must have made their way to it for their water needs.
