A cavity in the sierra de Aralar located in 1993, explored and surveyed after several diggings, with a narrow descending ramp that leads to a 58-metre vertical drop and a network of galleries and pits.

Caratteristiche

Località

Access is via the path from Igaratza towards Albi as a reference; take the bridle path that climbs towards the Gaintza crags. Once here, head Norte until reaching the so-called Illobi ravine. In it and along its bottom there is a path heading Norte towards Neguri. Follow it for about 300 metres and a inhabited borda appears. From this to the cavity de Illobi there is barely a distance of 40 metres in a westerly direction.

Morfologia

Narrow descending ramp that leads to a 58-metre vertical drop, the pozo de los Osos, connecting with a network of galleries and pits at -83, -129, -131, -214, -239, -275, -330, -449, -485, -539 and -549 metres.

Progressione

Important cavity located in the sierra de Aralar; after several diggings in 1993 it became possible to explore and survey the aforementioned cavity.

Located in 1993 at the Jornadas Vascas de Espeleología.
