On the L-401 road from coll de Jou to Cambrils, at the point where it crosses the riera de Canalda, one must go down to the riverbed and walk as far as the height of the ruins of the old flour mill known as el Molinot; the cave is on the left bank of the riera. Approximate coordinates.

Morfologia

The entrance is 0.50 metres in diameter and gives access to a low-roofed gallery that, at 5 metres along, enters a heavily decorated chamber 10 metres long, in which the ceiling rises to reach 3 metres in height.

Concrezioni

The chamber is heavily decorated.

Storia

Known in the area since time immemorial as cova del Molinot, for being opposite this flour mill, now in ruins. In 1962 EDES explored it and changed its name, and it became known as cova EDES.
