Descrizione
Morfologia
At the 2x3.80 metre entrance we already find some stalagmitic formations; then we enter through a high and not very wide gallery where, after about three metres, we find an iron door, recently opened, but with one of its bars cut, thus losing its protective function even when it was closed.
The roof of the gallery lowers until it forces us to continue on all fours; after about eight metres the gallery rises and we reach a chamber about four metres in diameter by three metres high, with a large stalagmite in the centre. On the other side of the chamber two small superimposed conduits end after a couple of metres. From the chamber, above the gallery through which we entered it, we find a narrow gallery, and a little higher up another wider gallery with plenty of formation; both galleries converge a few metres further on and end after about four metres. The cave has a vertical drop of +4 metres and a total length of 41 metres.
Concrezioni
At the 2x3.80 metre entrance we already find some stalagmitic formations. In the chamber about four metres in diameter by three metres high there is a large stalagmite in the centre. A little higher up there is another wider gallery with plenty of formation.
Note: As far as conservation is concerned, the cave is in fairly good condition, but the bad habit people have of putting dirty hands on the formations means that some are beginning to take on a brownish colour. We must be careful with the natural heritage we have, since in the massif there are not many cavities with these characteristics.
Progressione
After about three metres we find an iron door, recently opened, but with one of its bars cut, thus losing its protective function even when it was closed. Storia
The cavity was discovered on 17 May 1991 by some young mountaineers, the Camí Garcia brothers (sons of Joan Camí, a founding member of the SIS and the one who, together with Salvador Mesalles, climbed and discovered the Galeria Sardy in the avenc del Llest). One of them lost his headlamp at the bottom of the cave and never found it again. Hence the name with which they baptised the cavity.
Years later, around 1996, they revealed their discovery to a small group of speleologists from the SIS – CE Terrassa, who carried out the study and survey of the cave in 1997, also finding some remains of archaeological interest. Given the interest that the cavity presented, they kept its location secret and tried to seek help from some institutions in order to safeguard its state of conservation.
But as the popular saying goes: Secret d'un és secret, secret de dos és dificultós i secret de tres descobert és. So, over the years the location of the cave gradually became known and it was visited to a greater or lesser extent. Fortunately with enough respect on the part of the visitors.
Around 2011, someone, it is not known who, installed a grille a few metres from the entrance. At that same time the same operation was carried out at the Avenc Quim Solbes. These events caused a certain stir in the hiking world of the Vallès. Some time later both doors were rendered useless by anonymous hands and both cavities have free access. In addition, the location and coordinates can be found on various websites.
