Località

The cave is located at the beginning of the ridge where the avenc dels Talps is found. Going up from the font del Carme toward the turó de l'Aguilar, we will follow the torrent de la font del Carme until reaching the ridge that climbs toward the avenc dels Talps. A few metres from the beginning we can find the entrance on our right.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Its entrance allows us to go in, by means of a narrow ramp, toward a gallery formed by a joint interrupted by several roca-mares. After these first metres, the joint becomes lower and continues through a narrow passage forming a 2 metre gallery that at the end becomes very narrow.

The cavity sits on a N60E – S60O joint, where erosion forms can be seen.

Idrologia

The cave was part of an underground course that is currently semi-fossil.

The entrance has been opened to the outside due to the collapse of the vault.

Storia

It seems that the discovery and first exploration were carried out by members of the GES – CM Terrassa in 1980.
