Towards km 2.5 of the TV-2122 road from Sant Jaume dels Domenys to La Torregassa, we will take the turn-off towards the neighbourhood of Sant Jaume dels Domenys called L'Hostal; after the first group of houses and before reaching the second group of houses of L'Hostal de Dalt, we will take the left turn-off that leads to Can Pedro until reaching the bridge over the Torrent de Sant Marc.

The cave is located about 280 m upstream from the bridge, on the right hydrographic slope of the torrent, and above the edge of some vineyards where some shrubs and trees conceal the entrance.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Cavity with a main chamber of good dimensions and earthy floor. On the E wall of the main chamber there is a small platform built of stone blocks.

The cavity goes a few metres further in a S and SE direction through two independent extensions where the accumulation of earth has limited the height of the ceiling, both ending in two impenetrable conduits.

Storia

Known in the area. In June 2016 Jordi Navarro and Montse Mañosa (Centre Excursionista Castellar) located it and carried out the documentation work to include it in the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya (2023).
