Caratteristiche

Località

From the Granadella we follow the road towards the Soleràs and a few metres beyond the chapel of Sant Antoni we head to the right and continue along the track that leaves from beside the pool, this is the path of les Figueres, and in about 1 km, after a sharp bend to the right, we find the cave beside the path, slightly elevated.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It is an interesting walled rock shelter 30 metres wide. The interior is divided into two rooms, separated by a stone wall that reaches the ceiling and a door with a wooden lintel. The deepest part is about 11 metres, and it does not have a great height either, about 4 metres at the highest part.

Altri dettagli

Outside we find a stone wall that runs lengthwise along the front, possibly corresponding to the part used as a corral, although the fact of finding two parallel walls separated by about 3 metres gives it a defensive appearance.
