Descrizione
Morfologia
A sea cave that, given its dimensions, allows comfortable access with a medium-sized boat, though with the engine stopped and manually controlling the sides of the cave. It forms a gallery about twenty metres long with small crevices and inner branches. At the opening, it exceeds three metres of depth under water, which gradually decreases as it goes further in.
Progressione
No survey is available.
Storia
Known since ancient times by local sailors. The word Xamuixa was the nickname of Joan Carreres, a man from Portbou who ran an inn and frequented the spot with his boat.
