Descrizione

Morfologia

The cave mouth is found within a small depression, presenting a small step that gives access to a sloping gallery. Within a few metres, the passage widens (about 10 metres approximately) and gains even more in height, giving rise to a chamber with a sloping floor, just over 30 metres long and reaching about 18 metres in height in the central area.

Concrezioni

The most notable feature of the cave is the great wealth of parietal lithogenic forms that occupy a good part of the cave.

Storia

Located by Carles Cantero (Grup ESPEMO, Morella) in early summer 2011 and visited shortly afterwards with colleagues from the Secció d'Espeleologia i Barrancs de la UEC Tortosa, who made it known.

A cave hitherto unrecorded by speleologists, but it was certainly known to shepherds and other people of the area. It is unknown whether at some point it was known by any specific name.
