Morfologia
The cave opens through a fine east-facing porch 12 metres wide by 6 metres high. One enters a sloping chamber (Salle du Maquis) measuring 25 metres by 15 metres at its largest dimensions. The back is at -6 m, but on the south side the scree slope leads to -9 m and -11 m, the lowest point of the cave.
Next to poche 2, a 16-metre-long crawlway opens into the following chamber, the Salle des Ratepenades. After a low point at -6 m, the floor rises and reaches the surface through a small entrance at +1 m.
Light grey limestones of the Pragian (Devonian).
Concrezioni
On the right of the Salle des Ratepenades, large flows of speleothems rise to +9 and +10 m and show traces of modification (carved steps) as well as piles of guano, an indication of the presence of bats.
Progressione
The Salle des Ratepenades is more easily reached from the back of the Salle du Maquis by climbing up the scree.
Altri dettagli
Traces of medieval modification are visible (notches, terraces, etc.) on the north side on the walls and in two natural poches.
