Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance is a fairly wide fissure at its start; as one descends, the fissure narrows and at the bottom there is an 8x5 m chamber. The vertical drop is about 15 m deep. The pit is formed by joints linked by the action of water, which has widened the cracks until allowing human passage through them.
Concrezioni
The walls of the shaft are almost entirely covered with concretions and dripping from the vault is intense.
Idrologia
The pit performs an important swallow-hole function, collecting a large amount of water, which is why the walls are quite washed.
Altri dettagli
The floor or bottom of the pit is covered with blocks and animal remains, and much of the floor is observed to be calcified.
