Descrizione

Morfologia

Like the Soula n° 1 and 3 cavities, this one is also a joint, oriented along the slope, very steep, and it has 3 tiered entrances. It is in fact the same fault, divided into tiers by ledges of wedged blocks.

The lowest one (-19 relative to the highest) is 10 metres long by 2 metres wide and opens onto a shaft 10 metres deep. The second opening is located 12 metres above the first and also opens into the joint choked with blocks. Finally, 8 metres higher still, a third opening (point 0) opens onto a P 5 that ends on a ledge, in the same part of the joint accessible via entrance n°2.

Progressione

At the base of the lowest entrance, on one side, a steeply sloping passage is blocked at -35. On the other side, after a belay on a piton, a shaft 4 metres deep is followed by a 20-metre-long rubble-filled gallery, which leads to the lowest point of the cavity at -43.5. Beyond that, the gallery continues upwards for 15 metres and is also blocked on blocks (-35).

Via the second opening, 3 successive drops of 2, 3 and 4 metres, then a sloping passage lead at -24 to a 19-metre vertical that reaches the lowest point already reached. Via the third opening, after the P 5, a 12-metre vertical allows one to reach the start of the passage at the foot of the R 4.

Altri dettagli
