Morfologia
The opening is at ground level, roughly circular, about 1.50 m in diameter. The Gouffre (pit) consists of a single absolutely vertical Puits (shaft) 48.50 m deep, with a diameter varying from 1.30 to 4 m at the bottom. The floor, on a slight slope, a 9 m long and is formed of fine scree.
Idrologia
Beneath the scree there is a void of about 2 m, and a slight draught sometimes rises from it.
Progressione
After a constriction, the lowest point is reached at -51 m. The start of digging was abandoned.
