Descrizione

Morfologia

It is a long parabolic-shaped shelter 30 metres long in the middle of the torrent de Ribalta, where rainwater leaps down and it coincides with the head of the same torrent.

Idrologia

It is worth highlighting a small salt spring there. But currently, with climate change and the scarce rainfall, it does not flow at all.

Altri dettagli

We will also highlight the sandstone there; it has two very contrasting colours, a reddish one and a bluish-grey one. Both materials erode very easily, giving rise to very whimsical shapes and a very sandy floor which, with the humidity of the shelter, makes it very slippery.

Storia

The only data we have are those provided by Salvador Codina, from the visit carried out on 02-03-2013.
