Località

About Km 134 of the C-26 road between Solsona and Berga, a paved track begins on the left toward Capolat; we follow the track for about 860 m and pass some buildings until a bridge that crosses the first stream.

The shelter is located approximately 100 m downstream of the stream from the bridge, at the base of a step where the stream falls as a waterfall.

To reach the base of the waterfall, there is a footpath on the left of the paved track a few meters before reaching the bridge. We take this downhill path that allows us to reach the side of the waterfall and the shelter.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The cavity is centered at the base of the drop of a waterfall; the porch is about 18 m wide and has an average height of 1.7 m, which allows comfortable access to the interior of the shelter.

The floor of the shelter has a slight slope toward the base of the waterfall and a small additional vertical access fissure in the SW area.

Idrologia

At the back of the shelter there is a built spring, as well as a reservoir for the use of the water that emerges there; the same water has also formed some gours toward the W of the shelter next to the spring.

Storia

Although long known in the area, there were no speleological references; in 2018 members of the Centre Excursionista de Castellar del Vallès visited and surveyed it.
