Località

From Can Puigmoltó, on the track from Begues to Plana Novella, take the path that descends to the streambed and follow it as if heading to the avenc de Sant Roc. About 180 m after starting the ascent along this streambed, climb its left slope (on the right as you walk) for about 10 metres to find the small entrance of pit no. 1. About 5 m above and a short distance away is no. 2.

Descrizione

Morfologia

At the entrance there is a step between blocks that gives access to a small illuminated chamber. From one of its ends it is possible to reach a short, narrow descending gallery where the cavity ends 5 metres below the entry point.

Storia

As with its neighbour, avenc Smith no. 1, it is not known who made the first exploration or in what year.
