Small 7 m deep pit in the Serra de l'Obac, long known to Mr. Josep Prat and first explored in January 1984.

Località

From the parking area of the Alzina del Sal·lari (km. 11 on the road from Terrassa to Talamanca), take the route to l'Espluga via la Pola and el Quarto de Reixa and reach the point where the path leaves the ridge and descends toward l'Espluga. Follow along the ridge, between the torrents de la Cansalada and de l'Espluga. A little further on, leave the main ridge and follow a secondary one to the right that follows the head of the Torrent de l'Espluga. About 125 metres further on, leave the path and go straight down toward the torrent, finding the pit about 60 metres from the ridge line and about 5 metres above the torrent bed. Very approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A small 5-metre pit, narrow and widening in its final section, reaches its bottom where a descending ramp begins down to a narrow crawlway that had to be cleared. This leads into a small chamber where one fits very uncomfortably. Crouched in it, one can see in a S direction a short crawlway that leads to a chimney about 2 metres high.

Storia

Long known to Mr. Josep Prat of the Club Muntanyenc de Terrassa. After some time he rediscovered it and reported it to members of the GES – CMT, who explored it for the first time in January 1984.
