Avenc de Sant Salvador

It is located right beside the path that climbs to Sant Salvador de les Espases (Esparreguera). The path starts at the old spa of la Puda de Montserrat, passes over the FGC tunnel (Casablanca Tunnel) and continues towards the hermitage of Sant Salvador de les Espases. On reaching the confluence of the torrents de l'Afrau and de Sant Salvador, the path forks and one must take the left-hand branch (both lead to the hermitage), that is, the one that climbs up the slope of the torrent de Sant Salvador. Before starting the zigzags of the ascent, the pit is found right beside the path. Approximate coordinates. It has sometimes been cited as located in the municipality of Olesa de Montserrat, but, although by a small distance, we believe it is in Esparreguera.
