Caratteristiche

Località

We do not know the location of the cavity. The original record says it is 50 minutes from the Mas de Malalí (we think it could also be Manelic or Magalí), although in the cartography we have not found any of these place names or similar ones.

Prospecting in the area is very difficult due to the abundant vegetation covering the relief, and passage is only possible along the most usual paths. In addition, most of the farmhouses are abandoned and those that are preserved have been largely bought or rented by outsiders who do not know the territory.

The coordinates only indicate a random point in the area and naturally have no orientative value.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A single shaft of 14 metres of vertical drop, structured on a NW-SE joint, heavily concreted and which has entered into total lateral coalescence with another chamber that follows a SW-NE direction, with the base on a gentle slope towards the bottom, the point where there is a vertical cavity partially isolated by the concretion.

Storia

According to old records of the GES – CMB, N. Llopis Lladó explored around 1934 or 1935 a series of cavities in this southern area of the municipality of Tivissa. Of all of them, only the one he called Avenc del Racó de Reboig has been located (later catalogued as Avenc del Racó d'en Juny). The location of all these cavities is very imprecise and in some cases nonexistent. Most references speak of the Mas Pellisé, but neither in the old cartography nor in the most modern do we find references to this farmhouse.
