A north-northeast canole [1] of 30 metres descends to -5 m where it intersects a second south-southeast canole 27 metres long and 2.5 metres wide that descends to -7 m.
Note: [1] On the Larzac, a “canole” or “canalette” is a channel cleared by erosion.

Notes: [1] Dolomite is a carbonate sedimentary rock composed of at least 50% dolomite, that is to say a double carbonate of calcium and magnesium, of chemical composition CaMg(CO3)2, which crystallises in rhombohedral prisms (rhombohedra). [2] The Bathonian is a stratigraphic stage of the Middle Jurassic (Dogger). It extends from -168.3 ± 1.3 to -166.1 ± 1.2 million years, succeeding the Bajocian and preceding the Callovian. Its duration is about 2 million years.
