Aven-Grotte du Grelot

A fine porch 2.5 m wide and 1.5 m high continues as a low horizontal gallery for 80 m to Un shaft of 25 m. At the bottom of this shaft, one must pendulum above Un gour to reach a squeeze that guards the entrance to Un magnificent shaft of 45 m, quite impressive for its volume. At the base of the latter, two networks are possible.

From the base of the P45, continue through Un oblique shaft of 30 m that gives access to about 700 m of galleries; terminus at calcite fill.

From the base of the P45, pass Un narrowing and cross the chamber to the P7. Just after a 6-metre climb, a descending ledge allows one to bypass Un R10. A ledge precedes the P15 which opens between the formations. One descends into a chamber, then reaches Un gour which is crossed on a ledge on the left side. A 2-metre climb, a fissure and a squeeze allow one to reach Un P9. A clay gallery and two lakes follow. Finally, one reaches the galerie des Gours via Un R4.

One then progresses for 200 metres in a magnificent fossil gallery. After Un narrowing of 20 metres, the gallery continues, still as large. Leave several shafts on your right. One successively crosses a ledge, Un rock bridge in a chamber, two chambers separated by Un low passage, a flat-out crawl, a 4-metre climb and a ledge to reach Un junction. The main continuation is on the right side. A step and 70 metres of galleries allow one to reach the P54 whose bottom constitutes the low point of the cavity at -134 m. A 10 m ledge allows one to cross the shaft on the right. One then reaches Un P12 at the bottom of which one then climbs back up into the cleared scree slope for about fifteen metres, the current terminus of the network.

The galerie des Gours is adorned with very fine gours.

The base of the P9 may be flooded.
