Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance of the cavity opens on the flank of a large giant's kettle about 2 metres deep. It gives access to a shaft of 13 metres, whose floor is blocked by fallen debris. After a dig, a comfortable shaft of 18 metres could be descended. At its top, a small descending gallery opens onto a perpendicular fissure. Progression then leads to a debris zone that quickly becomes impenetrable. Towards the east, a relatively easy passage through a jumble of blocks leads to the large chamber of the pit. Several leads are present in the lower parts, but they quickly end in silted-up areas.
Concrezioni
The perpendicular fissure is located at the level of stalagmitic flows.
Progressione
Un (a) pendulum at mid-shaft allows progression to continue. The debris of the low point has not been dug, and climbing the ascending shaft did not reveal any new continuation.
Altri dettagli
During the reported explorations, no draught was observed. The cavity therefore appears to end in silted-up zones, with no obvious continuation known in the publications consulted.
