Aven du Prével

From the fine entrance starts the P 11, which leads to a rift opened to the north by a P 7. At the bottom of this, a low corridor offers two possibilities. The first consists of entering a low chamber on the right; at its bottom, on the right, one descends a series of small steps down to a small chamber (-33 m). From there starts a descending crawl leading to the great chaos chamber (40 x 20 m), without decoration, with large blocks and scree. At the bottom of this, a passage between the blocks leads to a second chamber, still chaotic but of more modest dimensions; one notes there the arrival of the second network opposite via scree. On the right, after a descending squeeze, still between the blocks, one reaches the low point of the cave (-66 m). The second possibility consists of bypassing the low corridor, which becomes a decorated flat-out crawl; at its depth of 66 m, one climbs a corridor up to a window on the left from which the P 17 starts. The descent takes place in a large rift; one lands on fairly unstable scree, which one descends until reaching the chamber situated beneath that of the chaos. This part of the pothole is strongly discouraged because of the instability of the blocks.
