Aven des Thières

At -1.5, a subvertical pit of 10.5 metres is reached; it widens fairly quickly and reaches the rather imposing section of 10 m x 10 m.

At the low point at -17, a fine meander is reached that bypasses the fill to the northwest, then opens onto a constriction to the south-southwest with a 3.2-metre step and a room 4 metres x 2.5 metres x 3 metres, and a second constriction leading to a 10-metre gallery with two levels, joined by three descending passages.

At the end, a 3-metre crawl heading north leads to a blowing hole at -30.

This pit forms a fine chamber with speleothems, with a few nicely decorated side branches (pearls). The gallery reached after the second constriction has speleothems.
