Morfologia
The first thirty metres consist of parallel, narrow shafts that lead to a large chamber with an ascending gallery whose base is occupied by a collapse. This is the level at which most of the avens of Aumelas usually stop, but this one gives access to a second network ending at a diaclase shaft obstructed by mud.

Thus, a few kilometres from Sète, the S. C.C., through relentless and meticulous prospecting, can regularly enjoy fine first descents while helping to perfect speleological knowledge of the Causse d'Aumelas.
