Descrizione
Morfologia
The entrance is a large lapiaz fissure, once blocked by shepherds and recently enlarged by stubborn people in search of the Treasure of Saunière (hence the name of the hole, du trou).
A passage to the north leads into a fine straight north/south gallery 20 metres long, ending in a chamber with a small chimney at the far end. The surface is not far away. At the start of the chamber, in the left wall, a crawlway dug into the marls leads to two superimposed pockets. Floor at -12 m.
Idrologia
The two superimposed pockets continue as a meagre trickle of a streamlet.
