Aven de la Boukha n°1

The pit (puits) begins with a narrow shaft (puits étroit), widening like a bell from -7 m to reach 5 metres in diameter at the -15 m ledge. Directly below the rope, the shaft (puits) continues through a short scree slope immediately followed by a step formed by a flow of calcite. A side ledge gives access, on the left, to a narrowing of the speleothem-covered walls, beyond which one emerges onto a parallel step that, after clearing, leads to a small meander opening onto a chamber measuring 5 m x 3 m, richly adorned with speleothems, directly below the entrance shaft (puits). Continuing the descent, one arrives in a large chamber, roughly circular and covered with numerous speleothems.
